Sofie Grant

Sofie is an Operating Partner & Head of Communications at EQT Ventures and EQT Growth, where she leads strategic communications, brand, content, and social media across EQT’s global early-stage tech platform. She works at the intersection of investing and storytelling, shaping narratives, building platforms, and driving visibility with founders, operators, and the broader tech ecosystem.

In addition to firm-level communications, she partners closely with portfolio companies on positioning, go-to-market storytelling, and brand building, supporting them as they scale from early traction to global category leaders. The portfolio includes companies such as 1X, Candela, Einride, Harvey, Mews, Epidemic Sound, Juni, Nothing, Vinted, Lovable, Strawberry, The Exploration Company, Marvel Fusion, Stacks, Cleo, Starcloud, Frontify, Natural Cycles, Baller League, Heart Aerospace, Banking Circle, Instabee, Paid, Kive, among others.

Before joining EQT in 2020, she spent nine years at Spotify, where she was part of building one of the world’s strongest consumer brands: scaling the team from 70 people in 2010 to a publicly listed company in 2018. During her time there, she worked across corporate, consumer, and executive communications.

Earlier in her career, she held roles across both industry and advisory, including at Microsoft and Creative Labs, as well as communications agencies such as Prime PR and Rewir, and within startups. She has lived and worked in Stockholm, New York, Reading, Munich, Paris, and Dublin.

She is also the founder of Emerge & Co, a consultancy focused on strategy and brand building, working with companies including VOI, Hedvig, Doktor.se, Avicii Experience, Space Digital Culture Center, Creed Media, and Podimo.
