Sebastian Frisk

Sebastian Frisk is Chief of Staff of The EQT Council, where he works closely with EQT’s senior leadership on firm-wide strategy, cross-platform collaboration, and long-term value creation. Based in Stockholm, he helps drive alignment across EQT’s global organization as the firm continues to scale its investment activities and operating model.

EQT is a House of Value Creation, focused on building and scaling companies with global ambition and impact beyond borders. Sebastian’s role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and value creation across the platform. He works with senior leadership to set direction, coordinates delivery across teams and regions, and helps move priorities from decision to execution with clear ownership.

Sebastian joined EQT in 2021 and previously served as a Managing Director in the Business Development team, where he focused on corporate strategy and strategic M&A, including initiatives that supported EQT’s growth and platform evolution.

Before joining EQT, Sebastian spent close to 15 years in investment banking, most recently at Jefferies. He brings extensive experience across global capital markets and complex transactions.

Sebastian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
