Sean Farrell

Sean Farrell is a Managing Director and Head of Human Resources for Global Client Solutions & Capital Markets at EQT, where he leads the full people agenda for the division. In this role, Sean partners with senior leadership across GCS & CM to drive talent strategy, organisational effectiveness, and people operations in support of EQT's continued growth as a global investment firm. Based in London, Sean's work spans EQT's major hubs including New York, Stockholm, and Hong Kong, reflecting the global reach of the GCS & CM division and EQT's ambition to build world-class client and capital markets capabilities across its platform. Sean joined EQT in February 2023 and is a member of EQT's HR Leadership Group. He also works closely with the EQT Foundation, contributing to the firm's broader commitment to positive societal impact. Sean holds a BA in Economics and Social Policy from University College Dublin, where he also completed an Erasmus year at Uppsala University, and a Diploma in Employment Law from Kingston University. Prior to joining EQT, he was an HR Business Partner at Marshall Wace, and began his career at Deutsche Bank in 2008.
