Sammie Lau

Sammie Lau joined EQT Partners in September 2024 as a member of the Global Wealth Solutions team, based in Hong Kong. In her role as Director, she is responsible for overseeing direct client relationships and fundraising efforts across all EQT fund strategies and co-investments for private wealth channels.

Prior to joining EQT Partners, Sammie worked at iCapital, a US based financial technology company, for three years where she supported the growth of iCapital’s Asia business. Prior to that, she worked in the Private Credit and Private Equity Investment team at China Ping An Insurance Overseas (Holdings) Limited. Sammie started her career at the Debt Capital Markets team at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking.

Sammie brings over 12 years of banking, investment and private wealth experience, and holds a Master’s Degree, majoring in Finance at Cass Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree from King’s College London.
