Rob Ryan
Rob Ryan is a Managing Director in the Singapore office, responsible for the analysis and management of foreign exchange and interest rate risk across the EQT portfolio. He also supports portfolio companies in managing their own market risks and oversees the execution of listed equity trades, combining technical markets and derivatives expertise with hands-on portfolio company engagement. Rob joined in 2014, setting up the hedging function in EQT Partners Asia precursor Baring Private Equity Asia. Prior to joining EQT, Rob held Director and senior roles in FX strategy and structuring at BNP Paribas and Royal Bank of Scotland in Singapore, and earlier at Merrill Lynch across Tokyo and Singapore. Rob holds a BA in Natural Sciences and Management Studies from Jesus College, Cambridge, and is a CFA Charterholder.
