Rene Hoepfner

Rene Hoepfner joined EQT in October 2024. Based in Munich, Rene has over 20 years of private markets experience across multiple disciplines including investing, investment consulting and investor relations. Prior to joining EQT, Rene was the Head of Investor Relations, Europe at LaSalle and a member of the firm’s European Management Board. He also advised institutional investors on their private markets investments in particular private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real estate at Mercer and Feri for almost 10 years, and worked for various alternative investment managers. Rene has a degree in finance and economics from Humboldt-University of Berlin.
