Patrick McBride

Patrick McBride is a Managing Director at EQT, where he leads growth equity investments in the technology sector with a focus on AI, software and digital media. Based in London, Patrick serves as a board observer at Harvey, the San Francisco-based legal AI platform, and as a board member at Epidemic Group, the Swedish music technology company. Patrick joined EQT in 2019 and currently focuses on the EQT Growth and Scaleup Europe Fund strategies, having previously spent 6 years in EQT Private Equity. Patrick holds a BA in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University, where he was awarded the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship and graduated with honors. Prior to joining EQT, he was a technology private equity associate at TA Associates in London and began his career in TMT investment banking at Jefferies in New York.
