Michael Hlavac

Michael Hlaváč is a Director at EQT Growth, focused on growth equity investments in AI application and infrastructure software. Michael covers the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through to portfolio monitoring. Current portfolio engagements include Mews, Perk, Wellhub, and Ardoq. Based in London, Michael's work spans Europe and the United States, with active involvement in cross-border investments across EQT Growth's core technology themes. Michael joined EQT in July 2022 and leads EQT Growth's initiative to embed AI in commercial due diligence, reflecting EQT's broader push to integrate AI across the investment process. Michael holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management and a Bachelor's degree from Prague University of Economics and Business. Prior to joining EQT, Michael was an Investment Professional at Greyhound Capital and Silver Lake Partners in London, and earlier an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the EMEA TMT team.
