Mehdi Van Renterghem

Mehdi Van Renterghem is Risk, Regulatory & Compliance Director at EQT Fund Management S.à r.l., EQT's Luxembourg-based AIFM, where he heads the local Regulatory and Compliance function, including oversight of AML/CFT. As a Conducting Officer, he is a member of the Senior Management Committee of EQT Fund Management S.à r.l. Based in Luxembourg, Mehdi's work spans the regulatory and compliance obligations of EQT's AIFM platform, ensuring the fund management entity meets its obligations under Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks. Mehdi joined EQT in April 2024. He serves as Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance and AML/CFT on the Senior Management Committee of EQT Fund Management S.à r.l. Mehdi holds a Master's degree in Business Engineering with Distinction from HEC Liège, Management School of the University of Liège. Prior to joining EQT, he spent two years at CVC Capital Partners and, before that, held Head of Compliance roles at various Luxembourg-based AIFMs, following eight years at PwC Luxembourg as an external auditor specialising in the asset management industry.
