Matthias Wittkowski

Matthias Wittkowski is a Partner at EQT, where he leads the firm's Private Capital activities across the DACH region and serves as Global Co-Head of the Services sector team. In the latter capacity, he shapes EQT's investment strategy and portfolio development across one of the firm's most active sector verticals globally. Based in Munich, Matthias leads EQT's Private Capital franchise across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, while his Services remit extends across the firm's global investment activities. Matthias joined EQT in October 2014. He is a member of the EQT Private Equity Investment Committee. Matthias holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel. Prior to joining EQT, he was a Managing Director and Partner at The Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on private equity, healthcare, and industrials and services.
