Malin Haag

Malin Haag is Regulatory & Compliance Director at EQT, where she leads group compliance matters and drives the firm’s regulatory and compliance approach to key areas including artificial intelligence and market abuse regulation. Based in Stockholm, Malin provides regulatory oversight and compliance support to EQT’s regulated entities across its global operations. Malin joined EQT in March 2020 and was based in the firm’s Luxembourg office from 2024 to 2025. She has built comprehensive compliance frameworks across the firm’s businesses, addressing both established and evolving compliance challenges. Malin holds a law degree from Uppsala University and professional certification in Applied Generative AI from MIT. Prior to joining EQT, she worked at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and practiced law at leading Swedish law firms Vinge and Setterwalls, advising on regulatory and compliance matters.
