Karin Erfurth

Karin Erfurth is the Operations Development Director in Fund Operations at EQT. She played a key role in defining the Fund Operations strategy "New Horizon" and acts as a centre of excellence for change management and process excellence, guiding operations teams towards standardization, simplification, and new ways of working. Karin coaches staff on end-to-end process thinking and operational excellence, working closely with senior stakeholders to align the strategic direction of Fund Operations within the wider EQT organization. Karin joined EQT in 2019 and established the Fund Operations Project Management Office, enabling the start of the digital transformation to shift processes from manual, spreadsheet-based workflows to a cloud-based data infrastructure and workflow management system. Karin is a Certified IT Business Engineer (Geprüfter Wirtschaftsinformatiker, Chamber of Trade, Trier) and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Scrum Master. She has also completed specialist certification in Generative AI for Project Managers and Organizational Transformation. Prior to joining EQT, she spent over 20 years at DWS Investment S.A. in Luxembourg in operations, technology, project management, and regulatory program leadership.
