Josh Sylvester

Josh Sylvester joined EQT in 2025 as a Director in the Global Wealth Solutions team, where he covers the Southeast Region. In this role, he advises wirehouses, registered investment advisors (RIAs), family offices, and private wealth intermediaries on private markets and alternative investments, working with both domestic and international client advisors. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Josh previously held senior positions at Brookfield Asset Management / Oaktree Capital, Allianz Global Investors, and ING Group. Earlier in his career, Josh founded and operated his own RIA, Legacy-by-Design, LLC, and also held a position at UBS Financial Services. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations.
