Johann Moon

Johann Moon is a Managing Director at EQT, where he leads digital, operational, and AI transformation across the firm's institutional and private wealth client functions globally. He drives the strategic roadmap for how fundraising and client engagement teams harness data, technology, and AI, working in close partnership with EQT's technology organisation to develop platform capabilities delivering commercial impact. Based in London, Johann joined EQT in 2024. Johann holds an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management from Imperial College London. Prior to joining EQT, he was Head of CRM at Insight Investment, and before that spent eight years at DWS, where he held senior roles across CRM and client analytics, ETF distribution, and global coverage strategy. He began his career in financial services consulting at Oliver Wyman.
