Johan Helmersen

Johan Helmersen is Head of Valuations at EQT, where he leads valuation processes and governance across the firm's business lines and strategies globally. He is also serving as Head of EQT's Warsaw office. Based in Warsaw, Johan works across EQT's international offices and business lines to ensure consistent valuation standards are applied across the firm's full range of strategies and geographies. Johan joined EQT in 2017 and relocated to the firm's Warsaw office in September 2025. He is a member of the Group Valuation Committee and serves on the board of EQT's Polish legal entity. Johan studied Finance at Stockholm School of Economics. Prior to joining EQT, he spent nine years at PwC Corporate Finance, focusing on mid-market M&A transactions.
