Daniel Cserhalmi

Daniel Cserhalmi is Head of Architecture & Tech Foundations at EQT and a member of EQT Tech's management team. He is responsible for how the firm builds, scales and governs its technology: the architecture, shared platforms and engineering standards used by central Tech, the technology teams in EQT's business lines, and a growing number of employees who build their own tools with AI. His teams build the data and AI platforms that colleagues across EQT use to find answers and build their own tools. Based in Stockholm, Daniel joined EQT in 2020. From 2022 to 2024 he was seconded to EQT Real Estate, where he led the architecture and build of Storex, a fully digital self-storage platform that opened a new UK revenue stream. Daniel studied Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, writing his thesis on artificial neural networks, before leaving to co-found Fliffr, a marketplace for live video consultations. He later worked as a consultant at Netlight, with engineering roles at Klarna and Kry, and was CTO at Denthub, a Swedish health tech startup.
