Cara Browne

Cara Browne is a Conducting Officer at EQT Fund Management SarL (EFMS), responsible for UCI Administration and leading Service Provider Management and Oversight within EQT's Central Functions. In this role, she oversees relationship governance with EQT's regulated service providers, managing SLAs, change management protocols, and escalation and incident resolution frameworks. Based in Luxembourg, Cara's work spans EQT's operations across Europe, Asia, and the United States, ensuring consistent governance standards across the firm's global service provider network. Cara joined EQT in June 2021. She is active in Luxembourg's financial industry, serving as an ambassador for the LPEA in collaboration with the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) on mutualization initiatives. She also participates in women's leadership groups both within EQT and across the broader industry. Cara holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Sociology from Bryant University. Prior to joining EQT, she spent ten years at SS&C/GlobeOp in New York and Luxembourg, covering fund administration across FinTech, Investor Services, and Accounting. Earlier in her career, she worked at Advent International in Boston as a Portfolio Coordinator and Private Equity Fund Accountant.
