Bruno Holthof
Bruno Holthof is a Partner in the EQT Health Economics 3 Fund, where he leads health and healthcare-related investments across continental Europe. Bruno joined EQT part-time in July 2022 and also serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Oxford, where he conducts research and teaches in global health — a role that deepens EQT's engagement with the latest health systems research and innovation. Bruno is based in the UK and works across European healthcare markets, drawing on his deep knowledge of health systems, hospital operations, and healthcare policy. Bruno joined EQT in July 2022. Prior to joining EQT, he held executive leadership roles in healthcare delivery for over a decade, serving as CEO of Oxford University Hospitals from October 2015 to July 2022 and CEO of the Antwerp Hospital Network from January 2004 to September 2015. Bruno holds an MD and a PhD from the University of Leuven and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Before his healthcare leadership roles, he worked at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients on healthcare strategy and operations.
