Alex Locatelli

Alex Locatelli is Head of Reward at EQT, where he leads the design and delivery of the firm's compensation framework. His remit covers EQT's compensation philosophy, the structuring of both cash and equity incentive programs, and the carry and co-investment arrangements that align employees with the long-term performance of EQT's funds. Based in London, Alex leads EQT's annual year-end compensation process and oversees compensation benchmarking across the firm, keeping pay practices competitive and consistent as EQT continues to scale globally. Alex joined EQT in 2020. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Nottingham. Before joining EQT, he worked in executive compensation consulting at Pearl Meyer & Partners and at PwC, advising organizations on reward strategy and incentive design.
