Organization Overview

The Innovative Finance Initiative (IFI) is a bold five-year effort to reshape how capital flows by crafting and testing inclusive, impact-centered funding models. Hosted by the platform The Impact, IFI is spearheaded by innovative finance expert Aunnie Patton Power. The initiative brings together foundations, family offices, and ecosystem builders to create participatory financial tools, from steward-ownership structures to impact-linked financing, that better serve communities and the planet.

Objectives / Engagement

• Map and connect the innovative finance ecosystem, linking funders, technical experts, capital allocators, and ecosystem stakeholders to co-design inclusive finance solutions .
• Build new capital products that challenge conventional finance logic, like blended capital models, steward ownership, and impact-linked finance, aligned with long-term, equitable outcomes .
• Support collaborative cultural and systems shifts in how we define value, ownership, and returns, embedding social and environmental purpose as foundational, not optional.
