Tasuku Kuwabara

Tasuku Kuwabara is a Partner at EQT and Head of Infrastructure Japan, where he leads the firm's infrastructure investment activities across the APAC region, with a primary focus on Japan. He is responsible for originating, executing, and managing infrastructure investments in the region, contributing to EQT's continued expansion across Asia-Pacific. Based in Tokyo, Tasuku's work spans the APAC region, with Japan as the primary market. He serves as EQT's APAC Investment Lead for EdgeConneX, EQT's global data center platform, and is a member of the EdgeConneX APAC Advisory Board. Tasuku joined EQT in 2024. Prior to joining EQT, Tasuku spent nearly 18 years at McKinsey & Company in Japan, leading the Healthcare and Public Sector practices. Before McKinsey, he served at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, managing Japan-US relations and leading Free Trade Agreement negotiations with Southeast Asian countries. Tasuku holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
