Sudarshan Jain

Sudarshan Jain has been working with EQT Group as a Senior Advisor since 2025.

He currently serves as Secretary General of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA) and Chairman of the Indian Institute of Health Management and Research (IIHMR), Jaipur.

Sudarshan brings over 48 years of leadership experience across healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and has played a significant role in shaping healthcare policy and improving access to healthcare in India. He has held senior leadership positions with global and Indian organizations including Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, and Boots, and last served as Managing Director, Abbott Healthcare Solutions. Over the course of his career, he has been associated with more than 30 brands that rank among the top 300 in the Indian pharmaceutical market.

He is a Member of the Drugs Technical Advisory Board (India's apex statutory body advising the nation's drug regulator), a Visiting Faculty at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and a Certified Executive Coach from the Coaching Foundation of India.

Sudarshan is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and IIM Ahmedabad.
