Sheri McCoy

Sheri has been working with EQT since 2018. Sheri McCoy is former Chief Executive Officer and director of Avon Products, Inc., a company that has empowered and inspired women for 130 years. Ms. McCoy joined the company in April 2012. She was responsible for restructuring the company, driving new long-term growth initiatives, developing earnings opportunities for women and advancing Avon as the world’s premier direct seller of quality beauty products.

Prior to Avon, Ms. McCoy had a distinguished 30-year career at Johnson & Johnson serving as Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, responsible for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer business segments that represented more than 60 percent of the company’s revenues. Ms. McCoy joined Johnson & Johnson as a scientist in research and development and subsequently managed businesses in every major product sector, including consumer, prescription medicines and medical devices holding positions including Worldwide Chairman, Pharmaceuticals Group, Worldwide Chairman, Surgical Care Group, and Division President, Consumer.

Ms. McCoy has experience in mergers and acquisitions and management of complex global structures. Sheri serves on the boards of AstraZeneca PLC, a global, science-led biopharmaceutical business; Certara, a private company focused on biosimulation in drug development and regulatory sciences; Catalyst, a global non-profit that helps build workplaces that work for women; and Stonehill College. She will also be joining be board of Stryker Corporation in May 2018.

Ms. McCoy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in textile chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, a master's degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University, and an MBA from Rutgers University. She holds four U.S. patents and she has been on Fortune magazine's "50 Most Powerful Women in Business" list.
