Ronny Verhelst has been an Advisor to EQT since 2017.

From 2011 until 2017, Ronny served as the Chairperson of the Management Board and CEO at Tele Columbus AG. In addition, he was the CEO of Telenet Mobile a subsidiary of Telenet Group Holding from July 2009 and served as an Executive Vice President of Public Affairs & Media at Telenet Group Holding NV until April 2011. He joined the Group in June 2001 as Executive Vice President Operations. Prior to Telenet Group, he was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a Customer Service Manager at Anhyp. From 1985 to 1997, Ronny had various Operations and Project management roles at Belgacom (Proximus), including Customer Service Manager of Flanders.

From 2012 until 2013, Ronny was the Chairperson of the Belgian National Football League.

Ronny attended VUB University and has a degree in Psychology.
