Matthew Kestenbaum

Matthew Kestenbaum is a Managing Director in EQT's Infrastructure team, based in New York. At EQT, Matthew focuses on investments in the energy sector and serves as the energy sector lead for North America. Matthew serves on the Board of Directors of Cypress Creek Energy. Before joining EQT in 2018, Matthew was an investment professional at American Infrastructure Funds, a private equity firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to that, Matthew worked in the Energy Investment Banking Group at Raymond James in Houston. Matthew holds a B.S.M. in Finance and Economics from Tulane University, where he graduated magna cum laude and with honors. Matthew serves as a member of the Investment Committee for the EQT Foundation.
