Matthew Guidarelli

Matthew Guidarelli is Head of Grants at EQT Foundation, where he helps shape the strategic growth and evolution of the Foundation while leading the grant-making across the Foundation's Science and Scale programs. In this role, Matthew develops the funding strategy and value-creation support for deep tech scientists and entrepreneurs across the Foundation's grant portfolio. Based in Stockholm, Matthew's work spans EQT's global footprint, and he is a member of the Foundation's leadership team. Matthew joined EQT in February 2025. Prior to EQT, Matthew partnered with founders and executive teams across Europe and the US through Folly Ventures, and served as General Manager, EMEA & APAC at Techstars, where he led the region to its highest performance in the company's history. Earlier, he was a founding member of the leadership team that created & scaled the Harvard Innovation Labs, helped shape one of the first impact investing affinity groups in the US, and founded a healthcare venture supporting pediatric patients. Matthew holds an MPA from New York University and a BS from Colorado State University.
