Kristal Rankine-Williams

Kristal brings a background in venture capital operations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic execution to her role at EQT, where she supports Laurabeth, Managing Director and Head of Early Stage Platform, and Polly Barnes, Operating Partner, within the Early Stage Tech team.

With experience spanning venture capital, education, and public policy, Kristal combines strategic insight with operational precision to help drive focus, alignment, and delivery across key initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked in the European Parliament in Strasbourg, supporting Sharon Bowles, then Head of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee an experience that strengthened her understanding of governance, policy, and international collaboration. She also studied abroad at the Institut d’études politiques de Strasbourg as part of her degree.

Kristal holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Politics and Economics from the University of Birmingham and a postgraduate degree in Education from Middlesex University. Based in London, she’s passionate about creating structure that enables teams to thrive, building strong relationships, and connecting people and ideas to make meaningful impact.
