Julia Martin
Julia Martin has been an Advisor to EQT since October 2025.
After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor, Julia joined the investment team as a capital markets broker at Weatherall Green and Smith, leaving in 1995 to join Guardian Royal Exchange Insurance (now AXA), as real estate Life Fund Manager.
In 2000, she joined Royal London Asset Management as the strategist for the real estate funds, and in 2002 was promoted to Head of the Real Estate Investment Funds and Director of RLAM. In 2005 and 2007, RLAM won the MSCI awards for the top performing Life Fund and All Funds Under Management in the UK.
In 2007, Julia moved to become a partner in the Corporate Finance team at King Sturge, which was later acquired by JLL in 2011. At JLL, Julia was a Director in the EMEA Corporate Finance team until 2019 and covered both fund-raising and JV structuring. In 2019 she moved across to the newly formed Living team, leading the JLL EMEA Student Housing and Coliving Capital Markets team.
Julia has an MA in Archaeology and Anthropology (Part I) and Land Economy (Part II) from Cambridge University. She has also attended short management courses at London Business School and Henley Management School.
