Gustav Skarman

Gustav Skarman works as an analyst on the AI team, building platforms, models, and agentic systems that power EQT’s early-stage tech investment process, from sourcing and screening to portfolio support.

Gustav wanted his own J.A.R.V.I.S. since he was a kid. That dream got him coding young and never let him stop building, eventually leading him to study machine learning at KTH.

It also led him to EQT, where he first worked on a master's thesis with the firm outlining an agentic VC fund. He is particularly drawn to agentic memory and to how communication between autonomous agents, as well as to the problems that determine whether a system of agents actually works as one.

When he's not shipping, he's offshore, racing sailboats on the open ocean.
