Girish Sankar

Girish Sankar is a Managing Director in EQT's Infrastructure team, based in New York. He leads data center & compute sector coverage, and focuses on investments in the digital infrastructure sector. Since 2020, Girish has worked on EdgeConneX, EQT's hyperscale data center platform. Girish joined EQT in June 2020. Prior to joining EQT, Girish worked in private equity on the TMT team at Advent International, and earlier as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. He has also worked at the firm's London office. Girish holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.Sc. in Economics & Finance from the University of Maryland.
