Denis Terrien

Denis has been an advisor to EQT since 2025.

After starting his career at McKinsey in London, he is one of the pioneer of internet in France and is a recognized entrepreneur and business leader. His career spans leading global organizations in technology, services, e-commerce, and branded consumer goods in Europe. Some positions Denis held include founder and President of Amazon.fr, CEO Salesforce South and Central Europe, CEO and of 3SI, Otto Group, President EMEA Sanford Brands.

Denis has a 20-year board experience in listed, family and privately held companies in Europe, US and Africa. He has chaired the boards of oNotes in the US, Vivarte in France and Colisee Group in France. He has been a member of several boards such as Veon in the Netherlands, Cofidis in France, Hanseatic Bank in Germany. He leads the group of advisors at Invisible Technologies in the US. He has chaired IFA, the French Institute of Directors since 2019.

Denis graduated from Harvard Business School (M.B.A. with distinction), Oxford University (Master in Computer Science) and Enseeiht (Ingénieur, eq Master of Science in applied Math).

With his wife, he created a family foundation that takes care of over 10,000 children.
