Daniel Schaeffer

Daniel Schaeffer is a Director on EQT's Infrastructure team, where he covers investments across the energy, transport and logistics, and industrial and social infrastructure sectors. His work spans new investment execution, portfolio company oversight, and EQT's investment committee processes within the firm's infrastructure franchise. Based in New York, Daniel focuses on North American infrastructure investments, drawing on earlier postings across EQT's European and Asia-Pacific offices. Daniel joined EQT in 2018 and was based in the firm's Munich office from 2018 to 2021, the Singapore office from 2021 to 2022, and the Sydney office from 2023 to 2024 before relocating to New York. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mannheim. Prior to joining EQT, he worked at McKinsey & Company.
