Andrea Orlandi

Andrea has been a Senior Advisor to the EQT European Living Strategy since September 2025.

Andrea was Head of Real Estate Europe and India at CPP Investments from 2011 to 2023 where he led the strategy and build-out of the European and Indian real estate portfolio and team in London and Mumbai. Andrea was part of the leadership team responsible for the global private and listed real estate portfolio with equity commitments in excess of C$50 billion, in addition to being part of the Real Assets senior team with equity commitments in excess of C$130 billion across multiple industries. From 2005 to 2011, he was a Director and the European Chief Investment Officer for AREA Property Partners (now Ares Management), and previously a Principal at O’Connor Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm. Early in his career he worked for Merrill Lynch in New York and London in several departments, specifically principal investments, structured finance, debt capital markets and investment banking.

Andrea has held numerous Board and Advisory Council positions for public and private companies across multiple sectors, including for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield-Germany, the Prologis European Logistics Fund (PELF), Citycon and Liberty Living (merged into Unite) in Europe, and Indospace Core Fund and management company in India.

He holds an MBA from Insead and a Bachelor in Science in International Economics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
