Janina Kugel

Janina Kugel has been an Advisor to EQT since 2020.

Janina started her career as a management consultant at Accenture. 2001 she joined Siemens as VP in the Siemens Communications Group Strategy. In 2005, she was appointed Director Global Commercial Excellence and in 2009 moved on to Director Human Resources with Siemens Italy. From 2012 until 2013, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Osram AG leading their worldwide restructuring program. In 2013, she was appointed Corporate VP Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer with Siemens AG and in 2015 she was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer and Member of the Managing Board where she was responsible for all People topics, Corporate Responsibility and Environment, Health & Safety.

Janina is a highly recognized leader in the HR scene and has extensive experience in reorganization and restructuring of organizations, cost-cutting programs, closure of sites including intensive negotiations with unions and workers councils.

Janina holds a Master of Economics from University of Mainz in Germany and Università degli Studi di Verona in Italy.
