Florian Funk

Experience

Florian Funk joined EQT in May 2008 and is a Partner in the EQT Private Equity business line with a focus on investment opportunities in the TMT sector.

Since then he has completed a 2.5 year secondment to EQT Partners Asia in Hong Kong from January 2011 to summer 2013. Furthermore, Florian was part of the leadership team founding and establishing EQT’s buyout business in the USA, based in New York City from January 2015 to June 2017.

Prior to joining EQT Partners, Florian worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions department at J.P. Morgan, Frankfurt. He holds a Master in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.

Florian is a member of the Mid Market Europe Partners Investment Committee.
