Next-generation redox-electrochemical active transport approaches for rare-earth element (REE) recycling from complex feedstocks.
We seek to design specific redox-materials that can selectively enhance selectivity between REEs based on multi-ligand coordination, and combine the specificity with the ability to regenerate based solely on electrochemistry for decreased OPEX and CAPEX.
The vision is to achieve a fully electrified REE recycling and purification process. We aim to substitute traditional hydrometallurgical plants and smelters for metals in general with an innovative vision for scalable, fully electrified REE purification and manufacturing.
