Roberta Ferrari

Roberta Ferrari is a Managing Director at EQT Life Sciences, where she leads the firm’s digital health investment strategy, with a focus on wearables, remote monitoring, and technology-enabled care. She oversees a high-impact portfolio and serves on the boards of Onera Health, FundamentalVR, and Nobi.

Prior to EQT, Roberta spent over a decade at Sony, where she held senior roles across corporate venture capital, M&A, and strategic partnerships. As Investment Director within Sony’s Corporate Ventures team (Sony Innovation Fund), she led digital health investments for both early-stage and growth funds, backing companies across Europe, including digital health unicorn Huma.
Earlier in her career at Sony, Roberta worked in the M&A and Strategic Partnerships team, partnering with several Sony business units—including Sony Medical—on acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic collaborations, working closely with business, legal, and technical teams across Europe and Israel. She began her career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte in Milan.

Roberta holds an MSc (Hons) and BSc in Industrial and Managerial Engineering from the University of Brescia and completed executive studies in Managerial Finance at the London School of Economics and Venture Capital at the University of Oxford.
