Eric Joubert

Eric joined EQT Partners in September 2022 and is a Vice President in the Sustainability and Impact team within the Private Capital business. He focuses on embedding sustainability and impact considerations throughout the investment lifecycle for buyout funds and early-stage strategies in Western Europe and the US, covering Healthcare, Industrial Tech, Technology, and Services. His work spans sustainability and impact due diligence, underwriting, value creation planning, and exit readiness.

He partners with portfolio companies and their boards on strategic, operational, and financing priorities, advancing sustainability and impact initiatives across decarbonization, product innovation, sustainable finance, and value creation, while also contributing to co-investor and LP engagement and exit readiness.

Prior to EQT, Eric worked in banking and private credit at BNP Paribas (Hong Kong) and Omnes Capital (Paris), before joining Deloitte’s Sustainable Finance practice in Singapore and London. At Deloitte, he advised financial institutions on corporate and sustainable finance strategy, including sustainable and sustainability-linked loans and bonds. He also contributed to the Sustainable Markets’ Scaling Private Sector Investment (SPSI) Initiative, focused on scaling private capital for sustainable development.

Eric holds a Master’s in Management from emlyon business school and studied at East China Normal University in Shanghai. He holds the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing, the CFA UK Certificate in Impact Investing, and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership Certificate in Sustainable Finance.
