Dominik Stein

Dominik Stein is Senior Partner, Scaleup Europe Fund, and Head of EQT Growth. He plays a leading role in shaping the Scaleup Europe Fund, supporting Europe's most ambitious technology companies as they scale into global category leaders, while continuing to lead EQT Growth.

Dominik joined EQT Partners in Munich in September 2006 as part of the Private Equity team. He served as Head of TMT before launching and leading the EQT Growth strategy in 2020. Between 2015 and 2020, he was also a member of the EQT Ventures Investment Committee.

Prior to joining EQT, Dominik worked at McKinsey & Company in the Private Equity Practice between 2001 and 2006.

Dominik holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (Lic. Oec.) and an MBA from INSEAD.
