Brian Fogarty

Brian Fogarty has served as the Secretary for EQT Real Estate since June 2023. Prior to that, he served as Fund Real Estate Counsel for EQT Real Estate from November 2012. EQT Real Estate became a division of EQT after the latter acquired it and its affiliates in April 2021.

In his role, Mr. Fogarty is responsible for handling EQT Real Estate's legal matters, including fund formation, entity structuring, property acquisitions, development, leasing, and dispositions. He works in coordination with both internal and external counsel to fulfill these responsibilities. Notably, Mr. Fogarty played a crucial role in finalizing the acquisition deal between EQT and EQT Exeter along with its affiliates.

Before joining EQT Real Estate, from September 2003 to November 2012, Mr. Fogarty worked as an attorney in the real estate and financial services group at Blank Rome, LLP. There, he advised clients on various aspects of real estate investment and development, maintaining a national practice.

Mr. Fogarty holds a BS degree in Biobehavioral Health, with a minor in Neuroscience, from Pennsylvania State University. He also earned a JD, magna cum laude, from the Villanova University School of Law. His combination of legal expertise and understanding of real estate investment and development, along with his academic background, make him a valuable asset to the EQT Real Estate team.
