The portfolio consists of original brands with strong market positions and comprises both prescription drugs (Rx) as well as consumer products (OTC) within six distinct categories - Pain, Cough & Cold, Dermatology, Intimate Care, Footcare, Speciality products, and Wellness. Karo Pharma's products have a strong position in the Nordic regions and the company has successfully expanded its direct distributions network to several other countries in Western Europe both through organic growth and acquisitions. Overall, Karo Pharma's products are sold to sixty different markets worldwide. Karo Pharma was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
