Petteri Koponen has been an Advisor to EQT since 2018.
Lifeline Ventures has invested in both Wolt's and Varjo's angel round, and Petteri has been the Chairperson of these companies since 2018 and 2016, respectively, working closely with Ted and Johan from EQT Ventures and EQT Growth. In his role as a founding partner of Lifeline Ventures, Petteri has invested in the first round of Supercell, Smartly, Applifier and tens of other startups. Before his 10+ journey as a venture capitalist, Petteri was an entrepreneur and founded four startups. The last of them, Jaiku, was acquired by Google in 2007, and Petteri worked at Google for two years in Mountain View and London. His other visit in the corporate world was Finland's largest telco Elisa where he served six years as a board member and eventually as the deputy Chairperson. In his free time, Petteri hangs out with his family, pumps iron, plays games, writes toy code and tinkers with electronics.
Petteri studied technical physics at Helsinki University of Technology.
