Oliver Astruc

Olivier Astruc is a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management for Living Strategies, Europe at EQT Real Estate. Based in London, Olivier oversees asset management across EQT Real Estate’s European Living strategies, with a focus on rental residential, student housing and other operational real estate sectors.

Since joining EQT in 2016, Olivier has led asset-level and portfolio-level value creation across the full investment lifecycle, from setting strategies to business plan execution across leasing, operations and dispositions. He also serves on the Investment Committee for EQT Real Estate’s European Living strategies and works closely with local teams and operators to build high-quality portfolios and deliver strong outcomes for residents, occupiers and investors.

Prior to joining EQT, Olivier held real estate investment roles at AXA Investment Managers, PGIM Real Estate, Cambridge Place Investment Management and GE Real Estate, with experience across acquisitions, development, leasing, operations, portfolio management and dispositions. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds degrees from the London School of Economics and EDHEC Business School.
