Didier Lamouche has been an Advisor to EQT since 2019.
Didier started his carrer in the semiconductor industry in R&D at Philips, spent afterwards 15 years at IBM, ending his career there as Vice President in charge of worldwide semiconductor operations, based in US. In this industry he also ran as CEO Altis S/C -joint venture between IBM and Infineon-, ST-Microelectronics as COO, and ST-Ericsson as CEO from 2010 to 2013. He also has a deep expertise ie the I.T industry, having turned around as CEO the French IT leader Bull Group, repositioning it successfully on the high growth high performance computing and cloud segment from 2005 to 2010. In the later part of his career from 2013 to 2018, he built as CEO the ww leader of digital Identity and security technologies IDEMIA, from the merger of Oberthur Technologies and Safran/Morpho. Since then, he has been acting as a professional Non-Exec Board member, advising and/or chairing multiple companies in the public (Quadient, ASMi, ACIww, Adecco) and private-PE-led (UTIMACO, Imagination) spaces, across Europe and USA.
Didier owns an engineering degree from École Centrale de Lyon and a PhD in semiconductor technologies, and has been distinguished with the French Legion d’Honneur in 2010.
